Thiagarajar Polytechnic College founded in 1958 by patron Late Sri.Karumuttu Thiagarajar and developed by Late Sri. M.S.Chockalingam has been a successful leader in Technical Education for six decades. This institution celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 1986 in the presence of His Excellency Sri.R.Venkataraman, the then Vice-President of India, and it's Golden Jubilee in 2009 with the iconic personality His Excellency Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam as the Chief Guest.
