International Scholarship

A total of $200,000 has been set aside for merit and economic scholarships for international undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The decision of the Scholarship Committee, Sona Group of Institutions, will be definitive and binding on all matters relating to scholarships. Both merit and economic scholarships are available to candidates.

Economic Scholarship

(applicable for UG Programs only)

Sona Group of Institutions offers 10% – 30% of fee renunciation on the annual training fees. The management magnanimously provides this fee waiver based on the various categories of admission taken by the candidate.

Category A Countries

Africa*, Iraq, Iran, Myanmar, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Vietnam, PNG, Malaysia & SAARC** countries.

Merit Scholarship

Scholarship for Academic Excellence (applicable only for UG Programs)

The Scholarships are merit-based and range from 10% to 15% of the first-year tuition fee, starting in the first year of enrollment as a full-time degree-seeking student.

According to the scholarship guidelines, candidates who score 90 percent or higher in the relevant subjects are eligible for a 15 percent tuition fee waiver, and candidates who score 80 percent or higher in the relevant subjects are eligible for a 15 percent tuition fee waiver.

Scholarship renewal in subsequent years is contingent on continuous high performance as described by the Eligibility Committee from time to time.

If the Eligibility Committee requests grade equivalence, the applicant is responsible for submitting the grade equivalence, which must be signed by an approved signatory from the concerned school. Scholarships will be granted based on the same criteria.

Meenakshi Aachi Scholars Program

The Meenakshi Aachi Scholars programme at Sona offers chances for outstanding early-career researchers. Any BE/BTech student with a strong GATE score or an exceptional TANCET score is eligible to apply for the scholarship, which is worth Rs. 1 lakh per year. Graduates with pertinent work experience are also fortified to apply. In addition to providing you with a grant or stipend to pursuing your master's degree, the programme will assist you in expanding your study network and honing critical skills at this critical juncture in your career.
